BALTIMORE – The U.S. Men's National Under-19 Team, featuring Syracuse freshman Ralph D'Agostino, will play in an exhibition game and host a clinic for youth players Nov. 18-20 in Dallas, Texas. This is the first Team USA training event for the squad as it begins preparation for the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Under-19 World Lacrosse Championship in Turku, Finland, in July 2012.
Team USA will take the field for the first time as a team in an exhibition game versus a team of Dallas area all-stars on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 8:30 p.m. CST, in conjunction with the Dick's Lone Star Shootout, to be held at the Colony Five Star Complex in Colony, Texas. Admission to the exhibition game is free.
In addition to Saturday's exhibition, Team USA, led by head coach Tim Flynn, will host a national team player clinic for kids in grades 1-8 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20 at McCullough Middle School. The cost for the clinic is $40 if pre-registered and includes a t-shirt and opportunities to win official Team USA gear. Walk-up registration, pending availability, is $50.
