SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse puts its three-game winning streak on the line when it hosts Buffalo on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. The Orange is trying to go undefeated in the month of November for the third consecutive year.

NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER
Syracuse is trying to post a perfect record in November for the third consecutive year. The Orange is 20-3 (.870) in November since the 2007-08 campaign. SU's last loss in November was a 58-57 setback against Alaska Anchorage on Nov. 26, 2008.
A CLOSER LOOK AT THE ORANGE
Syracuse shook off a slow start and defeated Lafayette, 74-54, on Saturday, Nov. 19. Five players reached double figures in scoring for the Orange, including Carmen Tyson-Thomas, who recorded a career-high 21 points.
After the Leopards jumped out to a 5-2 lead, SU scored four consecutive baskets to take a 10-5 advantage. Lafayette came back and tied the score at 12-12 with 13:57 remaining, but the Orange responded with a 10-2 scoring run to take a 22-14 lead. Lafayette continued to make it a game and tied the game at 29-29 with 3:14 on the clock. Shakeya Leary closed out the half with a pair of free throws as SU led 31-30 at the half.
The Orange seized control of the game at the begining of the second half. SU went on an 18-2 scoring run and continued to build its lead throughout the final 20 minutes, recording the 20-point victory.
Kayla Alexander posted her seventh career double-double and first of the season with 20 points and a season-high 17 rebounds. Iasia Hemingway added 11 points off the bench, while Leary and Elashier Hall finished with 10 points each.
SCOUTING THE BULLS
Buffalo enters Tuesday's game with a 2-1 record. Brittney Henderson leads the Bulls in scoring, averaging 15.0 points per game. She also leads the team in assists (15). Beth Christensen is UB's leading rebounder, posting 7.3 per game.
Head coach Linda Hill-MacDonald is in her seventh season at Buffalo. She guided the Bulls to its first ever postseason appearance when it earned an invitation to the 2010-11 Women's Basketball Invitational.
THE SERIES
Syracuse and Buffalo will meet for the seventh time on the hardwood on Tuesday. The Bulls lead the all-time series, 4-2. The Orange won the last contest between the two schools, a 64-63 thriller in Buffalo in 2005-06.
