The Syracuse athletics department's 'Cuse Cares Community Outreach program is hosting a carnival on Saturday, April 23, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. to benefit the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation. The event will be held at the Carrier Dome, lower concourse, on the University campus.
The carnival will include game stations run by Syracuse student-athletes. Prizes and a silent auction will be part of the event. Admission is free and those attending can participate in the games and activities by purchasing tickets. The carnival is being held in conjunction with Syracuse's women's lacrosse game against Cincinnati.
The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation is a non-profit organization that matches children with college or high school sports teams. In most cases, the child is a pediatric brain tumor patient.
The 'Cuse Cares Community Outreach Program allows student-athletes to give and to receive, to put the bold ideas of Scholarship in Action in motion and to share what they've learned in athletics with aspiring athletes in the community.
