The video montage that was played prior to each home men's basketball game in the Carrier Dome has been nominated for a 2011 College Sports Media (CSM) Award. The SVG and National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) announced the nominees, which represent dozens of college athletics and academic departments, as well as professional production companies.
Syracuse's video, which was produced by director of media properties and production Roger Springfield, highlighted the rich tradition of Orange basketball. It is one of six nominees in the College Athletics – Promotions or Marketing Campaign category. The other nominees are the Mountain West Conference, Central Florida, Miami, Southern Illinois and Michigan.
The nominees for the 2011 CSM Awards are spread across three divisions in a total of nine categories. The winners will be selected by a panel of judges and announced on June 7 at the College Sports Video Summit in Atlanta.
