
Feeley, Houde Named To Athletic Communications Staff

Ted Feeley and Matt Houde joined the Syracuse University staff as athletic communications assistants. They will work within the athletic communications department, which disseminates information for all varsity sports to appropriate organizations, manages the department website, SUAthletics.com, and acts as a liaison between the media and the SU coaching staffs and student-athletes.
Feeley will work with the Orange volleyball, tennis and softball teams, in addition to serving as a secondary football and men's basketball contact. Houde will work with the Orange ice hockey, and cross country and track & field programs, in addition to serving as a second contact for football, women's basketball and men's and women's lacrosse.
A native of Syracuse, Feeley earned his undergraduate degree from Springfield College in 2008. He completed a master's degree from Marshall in 2011. He was a student assistant in the sports information office at Springfield and, following graduation, served a one-year internship in sports information at Alaska-Fairbanks. There he was the primary contact for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's skiing and rifle. Feeley was a sports information graduate assistant at Marshall for two years. He worked with men's soccer, women's tennis, cross country and women's track and field, and was a secondary contact in football, men's and women's basketball and baseball. He is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference-Sports Information Directors Association (ECAC-SIDA).
Houde graduated from Massachusetts-Amherst in May. He was a student assistant in the sports information office at Massachusetts-Amherst from June 2007 until he finished his undergraduate degree. Houde served as the primary media contact for women's rowing for two years and men's and women's skiing for one season. He was the secondary contact for men's ice hockey for four years. He is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference-Sports Information Directors Association (ECAC-SIDA).
