BRISTOL, Conn. – College softball blogger Graham Hays is counting down his Top 20 softball teams of 2012 and has Syracuse rounding out the list at No. 20.
The Orange is coming off its best season in program history with a 45-13 overall record. SU also won its first ever game in the NCAA Tournament last season with a 1-0 victory against LSU.
BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year Jenna Caira returns for her senior campaign, along with a cast of veterans including; Lisaira Daniels, Lacey Kohl, Morgan Nandin, Kelly Saco and Stephanie Watts.
Practice for the Orange is underway, while SU plays its first contest at the Kujikawa Classic on February 10 in Tempe, Ariz.
