SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University softball coaching staff and players will be hosting a spring clinic on Sunday, March 25 at Manley Field House.
The clinic will be broken up into three sessions by grade, offensive skills, defensive skills and pitching and catching. The cost for one session is $50, two sessions is $90 and all three sessions is $120. Payment must be made at the time of registration.
The offensive skills portion will focus on hitting and power. The defensive training will cover specifics on each position for both the infield and outfield. Pitching will cover strength, conditioning and putting together optimum pitching workouts. Catching will focus on blocking, framing, throwing skills and calling pitches.
A parental waiver and consent form is required for all participants. Athletes without this form will not be able to participate. Forms must be faxed to the Syracuse University Sports Medicine Office at 315-443-5057 prior to the start of the clinic.
9:00-10:30 a.m.
Session One: Fielding – Grades 4-7
Session Two: Pitching and Catching – Grades 8-12
11:00-12:30 p.m.
Session Three: Pitching and Catching – Grades 4-7
Session Four: Hitting – Grades 8-12
1:30-3:30 p.m.
Session Five: Hitting – Grades 4-7
Session Six: Fielding – Grades 8-12
