Leigh Ross addresses the team after practice:
TEMPE, Ariz. – It was to the field today for the first time since arriving in Arizona. The Orange held practice from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Farrington Stadium, the site of the tournament games which begin on Friday afternoon.
The team did defense first, and then everyone took their turn at the plate. Finally, they practiced fly balls to adjust the sun that was beating down. Before noon, it was already over 100 degrees.
SUAthletics.com caught up with Jasmine Watson and Lindsay Taylor after practice to get their thoughts on the morning and what their plans are for the rest of the day.
