SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange men's lacrosse team will host Canisius on Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome, SU head coach John Desko announced today. The confirmation of the game date is the final piece of the Orange's 2013 schedule which was released last month.

Syracuse and Canisius have met once previously on the lacrosse field. The Orange defeated the Golden Griffins, 20-3, in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Tournament on its way to winning the national championship. This year's pairing represents the first regular-season matchup between the two schools.

The Orange will play a total of eight regular-season games at the Dome this year beginning with its season opener Feb. 17 against Albany.
