SYRACUSE, NY – Syracuse University has announced that a limited number of seats in the lower bowl have been released for the Clemson game on Saturday, October 5. The tickets will go on sale Thursday, October 3, at 9:00 a.m. and can be purchased online at suathletics.com, in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office, or by calling 1-888-DOME-TIX.
The game against #3 Clemson is Syracuse's first ACC matchup. The Orange has won two games in a row and is coming off a bye week.
A family of four can purchase the Tops Family Pack for the Clemson game for only $75. The price includes two adult and two youth (12 & under) tickets, parking, and a $5 concession stand voucher. Seating is located in the family-friendly, alcohol-free Tops Family Section between aisles 332-333.
Syracuse will retire the jersey of legendary quarterback Don McPherson at halftime of the Clemson game. The first 10,000 fans who enter the Dome will receive an ultra-stylized 8x10 glossy reproduction by Syracuse Steiner Collectables, commemorating the event.
A College Football Hall of Famer, McPherson led the Orange to an 11-0-1 season and a No. 4 final ranking as a senior in 1987. He was second in the Heisman Trophy balloting to Tim Brown of Notre Dame that season and won a slew of individual awards, including the Davey O'Brien Award and Maxwell Award.
The Carrier Dome will open at 1:30 p.m. for the 3:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday.
