Nike/Inside Lacrosse Top 20 Poll | USILA Poll
BALTIMORE – Syracuse made another big move in the national polls this week. The Orange is ranked fourth in the most recent Nike/Inside Lacrosse Top 20 Poll and USILA Coaches' Poll, released Monday, March 18. Syracuse moved up three spots in the media poll and seven spots in the coaches' rankings following its 13-8 win over rival Johns Hopkins on Saturday.

The Orange garnered 396 points in the media rankings and 186 points in the coaches' poll. This is the first time since March 12 of last season that Syracuse has appeared in the top five of the media poll. Prior to Monday, the last time SU was in the top five of the coaches' poll was Feb. 27, 2012.

The top five in both sets of rankings are the same. Maryland held onto the No. 1 spot after beating Villanova over the weekend. Cornell is second followed by Notre Dame, Syracuse and Denver.

The Orange returns to action Tuesday, March 19 when it takes on Providence at 7 p.m. at the Friar Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex.
