and Dave Bing. The most recent meeting was a 80-67 Duke win on March 20, 1998 in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in St. Petersburg, Fla. that evened the series 2-2. Todd Burgan Led SU with 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Elton Brand led the Blue Devils with 20 points and 14 boards.

ON THE GRIDIRON
Syracuse and Duke will play for the first time in 75 years in 2014. The only previous meetings were in 1938 and 1939, both Duke victories. The Orange and Blue Devils are also scheduled to play each other in 2019.
