Triche Makes NBA Summer League Debut

Former SU guard Brandon Triche posted eight points in just under 15 minutes of play as the Charlotte Bobcats recorded their first win on July 14 during the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League.
Triche, an undrafted free agent, shot 3-of-4 from the field and 1-of-1 from three-point range in his first appearance with the Bobcats, an 86-80 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Dion Waiters, the number four overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, tallied game highs of 23 points and four assists, while chipping in with four rebounds to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 69-58 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Former Orange forward Donte Greene finished with five points and one board for the Grizzlies.
Also in action on Sunday was Demetris Nichols of the Milwaukee Bucks. Nichols scored seven points on 2-of-3 shooting, while going 3-of-4 from the free throw line. He added three rebounds, two assists and a steal in Milwaukee's 69-61 triumph over the New Orleans Pelicans.
