
Syracuse promotes Jamie Mullin to senior associate athletics director.

Syracuse athletics administrator Jamie Mullin has been promoted to senior associate athletics director for administration. Mullin joined the Syracuse staff as the director of athletic compliance in July 2003 and was promoted to associate director of athletics for team services in 2006. Most recently he has served as associate director of athletics for administration. Mullin will serve as the liaison to the University legal counsel, judicial affairs, public safety, admissions and financial aid. In addition, Mullin will be responsible for athletics department policy development and strategic planning. Mullin will continue to be responsible for providing managerial support to the equipment room, sports medicine department, weight room, and video support services and supervise men's lacrosse, women's ice hockey, field hockey and rowing programs.
Mullin joined the SU staff after working at Fresno State for two years. He was named Fresno State's director of compliance in June 2001 and was promoted to assistant athletic director for compliance one year later.
Prior to his tenure at Fresno State, Mullin worked in the compliance office at Central Michigan University as an assistant from August 1999 through May 2001. Mullin earned his bachelor's degree in history from Northern Michigan University and his master's degree in sport administration at Central Michigan University.
