SU Lacrosse TV Schedule Features Five National Appearances

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Eleven of the Syracuse men's lacrosse team's 13 regular-season games will be televised this season, including five appearances on ESPN platforms as part of the network's 2014 college lacrosse coverage. The second-ranked Orange also has six games slated to air locally on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel (TWCS).

Always one of the most highly-anticipated games of the year, ESPN3 will carry SU's road date with Virginia, which is now scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. The game between the Orange and Cavaliers will be replayed on ESPNU Sunday, March 2 at 9 a.m. SU's additional national TV appearances include road games with Johns Hopkins (March 15) and Duke (March 23), as well as ACC home games versus Notre Dame (March 29) and North Carolina (April 12).

ESPNU will once again carry the semifinals and title game of the ACC Men's Lacrosse Championship, which takes place from Friday, April 25 to Sunday, April 27 at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. ESPNU will air Friday's two semifinals at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and the championship game on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Syracuse's five remaining home games, including the team's ACC opener versus Maryland on Feb. 22, will air live on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel. TWCS is also scheduled to carry the Orange's road game against Hobart on April 19. Since 1986, Syracuse and Hobart have annually competed for the Kraus-Simmons Trophy.
