ACC Announces Hoop Pairings

SYRACUSE, NY – Syracuse's second year in the ACC will feature home and road contests with rivals Boston College, Duke, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech and will include a home encounter with new league member Louisville. Conference opponents for the next two seasons were announced by the ACC on April 22.

The 2014-15 season will be the first of a 12-year schedule rotation. Schools that are not traditional "partners" will play five years at home only, five years on the road only and two years at both home and on the road. Syracuse's "partners" are Boston College and Pittsburgh.

Six ACC clubs – Duke, North Carolina, NC State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Virginia earned NCAA Tournament invitations this past season. A seventh program, Louisville, joins the ACC next season. Clemson and Florida State each represented the ACC in the NIT.
