Syracuse travels to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan as part of the 16th annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge presented by Dick's Sporting Goods on Dec. 1-3, 2014. It will be a rematch of the 2013 NCAA semifinal contest played between the two teams.
The Orange will take on the Wolverines on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The game will be televised by ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. It will be the 11th time that Jim Boeheim's squad will take on a team led by Michigan head coach John Beilein, who has also guided teams at West Virginia, Richmond and Canisius against Syracuse. The Orange has won nine of those contests.
The Big Ten/ACC Challenge expands to 14 games this season, as all 14 teams in the Big Ten and 14 of the 15 squads in the ACC will participate. The leagues will compete for the Commissioner's Cup, which is presented to the conference with the best record in the Challenge.
