Chitkowski Chosen For All-Tournament Team

Sophomore Danielle Chitkowski was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two runs batted in
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Sophomore Danielle Chitkowski earned a spot on the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Tournament Team following her effort's against Virginia Tech in the quarterfinals on May 8.
Chitkowski went 2-for-3 with a season-high two doubles and two runs batted in to keep the Orange within striking distance in its first ACC Championship apearance. With Syracuse trailing 2-1 in the fourth inning, the third baseman delivered a game-tying double to right center. She was back at it again in the sixth, recording another RBI double, this time to center, to bring Syracuse within 5-4.
Of the 11 players selected to the All-Tournament Team, Chitkowski was the only player voted to the team that did not advance to the semifinal round.
