Orange one of three ACC teams in the top five
BALTIMORE – The Syracuse Orange men's lacrosse team is ranked fourth in the 2015 Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Top 20, released Monday, Jan. 5 on the magazine's website. It's the second No. 4 ranking for the Orange. Syracuse was also tabbed fourth last month by Inside Lacrosse in its Face-Off Yearbook preseason poll.

The Denver Pioneers top the Lacrosse Magazine preseason rankings, followed by Notre Dame, Duke and Syracuse. Johns Hopkins rounds out the top five.

The Orange is coming off an 11-5 season in which it advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 31st time in the last 32 years. SU brings back the starting attack unit of Kevin Rice, Randy Staats and Dylan Donahue who combined for 106 goals and 190 points last season.

The Orange begins the 2015 campaign on Feb. 7 against Siena at the Carrier Dome.
