Syracuse's current squad will take on the alumni roster at 3:30 on Saturday
The past will once again return to the Carrier Dome to take on the present as the Syracuse Alumni take on the 2015-2016 Orange on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 3:30 p.m.
The Alumni All-Stars will feature 2015 MLL All-Stars John Galloway and JoJo Marasco, as well as Randy Staats and Brian Megill, who are fresh off appearances in the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships.
The squad will also feature a number of players featured in the MLL Championship Game this season, with Tommy Palasek, Hakeem Lecky and Marasco taking the crown this season with the New York Lizards, by defeating a Rochester Rattlers team that featured Galloway, Rice and Staats
Between the legends rosters and the Alumni All-Stars, players who've accumulated 40 All-American honors during their collegiate careers will be taking to the Carrier Dome turf on Saturday, including three-time All-American Dan Hardy and two-time All-Americans Galloway, Megill, Marasco, Henry Schoonmaker and Kevin Rice on the Alumni All-Stars.
The 2015 Orange Alumni Lacrosse Classic will be the sixth of the annual tradition held at Syracuse. The "Legends Game" will begin at 1:30 p.m. and the current 'Cuse roster will take on the school's recent alumni at 3:30 p.m.
Tickets for the doubleheader are $10 and can be purchased in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B), while Parking is free in the Stadium Lot. The event is a fundraiser with all proceeds going directly to the Syracuse men's lacrosse program.
