Lamolinara Joins Navy Coaching Staff

Former Syracuse standout will serve as a volunteer assistant
Former Syracuse standout and volunteer assistant coach Dominic Lamolinara has joined the Navy coaching staff for the 2016 season, Midshipmen head coach Rick Sowell announced.
After serving as an undergraduate student coach over the course of 2014-15 for the Orange following the conclusion of his playing career, Lamonlinara now joins Navy as a volunteer assistant.
A native of nearby Arnold, Maryland, Lamolinara played in 43 games in his three-year career as a Syracuse goaltender, boasting a 21-9 record and making 288 career saves after transferring from Maryland at the conclusion of his freshman season. His 9.94 career goals against average is the fourth-best mark in program history.
In his time helping mentor the Syracuse goaltenders last season, he helped the Orange to a combined 9.57 goals agaist average and a .519 save percentage.
