Louis Orr and Roosevelt Bouie, known as the "Louie and Bouie Show" at Syracuse, will have their jerseys retired at halftime of the Syracuse-Pittsburgh game on February 21 at the Carrier Dome.
Orr and Bouie were two key recruits for Jim Boeheim after he was promoted from assistant coach to head coach in 1976. Syracuse made four straight trips to the NCAA Tournament while Orr and Bouie were on the squad. Each became a 1,000-point career scorer and were drafted by the NBA.

Louie and Bouie both achieved double-doubles against the Mountaineers. Louis Orr tallied 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists while Roosevelt Bouie recorded 27 points, 15 rebounds and two assists

Against the Golden Griffins, both Bouie and Louie scored 27 points. Bouie also tallied 15 rebounds and Orr had six boards.
March 1, 1978: Syracuse 69, St. Bonaventure 70
In the ECAC Upstate playoffs, Orr led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Bouie chipped in with 14 points and 11 rebounds.Â

Bouie and Orr excelled against the Mountaineers again. Orr had 22 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds while Bouie tallyied 18 points and four rebounds.

The co-captains each had 21 points to lead the Orange against the Red Flash. Orr added 10 rebounds and 4 assists, and Bouie recorded 12 boards.

In the championship game of the Carrier Classic, Bouie and Louie led the Orange to an overtime victory against the Redbirds. Bouie put up 22 points and grabbed 12 boards. Orr tallied 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Against the Huskies, Orr connected for 21 points, grabbed six rebounds, and passed out six assists. Bouie led the team in scoring with 29 points and also tallied 16 rebounds and three blocks.

Bouie put up 16 points and got nine rebounds against the Friars. Orr led the Orange with 26 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks.

Louie and Bouie both scored 19 points for the Orange against the Bonnies in Manley Fieldhouse. Orr also hauled down 16 rebounds and had eight assists while Bouie finished the game with seven rebounds and four blocks.
