
Men's Soccer Adds Two to Nationally-Ranked Class

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse University head men's soccer coach Ian McIntyre announced the addition of two more players to the program on Monday, Feb. 23. Adnan Bakalovic is the fifth member of the TopDrawerSoccer.com Top 100 to join this year's incoming class. The Orange also added Norwegian midfielder Andreas Jenssen. Â

The duo bolsters an Orange recruiting class that is already ranked No. 8 nationally by College Soccer News and No. 9 by TopDrawerSoccer.com.

Position: Forward
Hometown: Utica, N.Y.
High School: Thomas R. Proctor
Club Team: Revolution Empire Academy

Bakalovic is a proven goal scorer with the Revolution Empire Academy of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA). He was named to the 2014 USSDA U-18 Winter Showcase Best XI. He is the No. 91 overall prospect, according to TopDrawerSoccer.com, and the No. 2 player in the state of New York.

Jenssen captained the U-19 Stabaek Academy team to a 2014 championship and to the quarterfinals of the Norwegian FA Youth Cup. He has played with the Stabaek reserve team and has also competed in the prestigious Viareggio Cup in Italy.
