
Record Number Named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll

More than 300 student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
A total of 324 student-athletes were named to the Fall 2014 Athletic Director's Honor Roll, the highest number of student-athletes awarded the honor for a semester since the fall of 2008. Established in 1995-96, the Syracuse University Athletic Director's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes with a semester grade point average of a 3.0 or higher.
Last semester, 134 of the 324 student-athletes achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher. The two teams with the most student-athletes recognized on the honor roll were the women's rowing team with 45, and the football team with 37 student-athletes.
Of the 20 men's and women's teams, 10 have semester GPAs at or above a 3.0, and 11 have increased their fall 2014 GPA from fall 2013.
