Softball will have to hold off one more week to continue ACC play
PLYMOUTH, Mass. – On Saturday, due to field conditions, it was decided that Syracuse and Boston College would push back its doubleheader to Sunday. However, Sunday's conditions weren't any better. This year's series between Syracuse and Boston College is cancelled due to inclement weather.

The Orange and Eagles split last year's series which was capped off by a by a three-run seventh to walk off in a 13-12 slugfest after 'Cuse had been slighted, 2-0, by the Eagles in the opener.

This weekend's matchup provided a solid chance for the Orange to pick up some wins within the conference as Boston College has struggled, winning three of its last 13 games despite having one of the best young pitchers in the conference.

Next up for the Orange is its home opener against Canisius. On Tuesday afternoon, March 24, 'Cuse will host the Golden Griffins in a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m., at the Skytop Softball Stadium. Syracuse's next ACC test is slated for Saturday, March 28 when it hosts Louisvillle in a doubleheader and will wrap up the three-game series on Sunday, March 29.
