4/1/2015 1:59:00 PM | Football
The Syracuse football program has added a home date with Holy Cross in the 2019 season. The Orange will welcome the Crusaders to the Carrier Dome on August 31, 2019. It will be the 29th meeting between the two programs and first since 1973. Syracuse leads the all-time series 23-5.
It's the second non-conference opponent for the Orange in 2019. Syracuse is set to travel to Maryland that year, as well. The Atlantic Coast Conference portion of the schedule includes Boston College, Clemson, Pitt and Wake Forest at home, and road games at Duke, Florida State, Louisville and NC State.
The Orange will host the annual Spring game on Saturday, April 4 at 1 p.m. Admission and parking are free. The Carrier Dome will open at 9 a.m. to kick off an afternoon filled with activities, including the Orange women's lacrosse game against Virginia Tech at 10 am, the annual 'Select-A-Seat' event throughout the day, and the opportunity for fans to join the football team on the field after the Spring game to participate in 'Selfie Stations' with the coaches and student-athletes. Current season ticket holders are invited to sit in a special designated section at the 50-yard line. All Orange fans who are interested in purchasing 2015 season tickets, can participate in the 'Select-A-Seat' program to test various seating locations around the Carrier Dome to choose a seat location for the 2015 season. In addition, fans are invited to try on the Orange football uniforms in the Orange Shoppe, which is located on the Carrier Dome concourse.
Â
Tickets for the 2015 season are available online, by phone (888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). In addition, discounted group tickets (20+), with prices as low as $10 each, are available for all home games by calling the Ticket Sales office (443-3212).
