SYRACUSE, N.Y. – This week's Orange Scholar-Athletes of the Week are Paige Stoner of the women's cross country team and Kielan Whitner of the Syracuse football team. The Orange football program features 10 alums who are on current NFL rosters. Here's a quick recap of how they fared during Week 9 of the 2016 season:
Jay Bromley, New York Giants
- Played in in New York's 28-23 win against Philadelphia. Did not record any statistics.Â
Riley Dixon, Denver Broncos
- Punted six times for 267 yards (44.5 avg.) in Denver's 30-20 loss at Oakland.Â
Dwight Freeney, Atlanta Falcons
- Played, but did not record any statistics in Atlanta's 43-28 win at Tampa Bay.Â
Arthur Jones, Indianapolis Colts
- Tallied a season-high six tackles in the Colts' 31-26 win at Green Bay.Â
