Syracuse Celebrates Pearl Washington

On Saturday, the Syracuse men's basketball program honored one of its most legendary players and people, the late Dwayne 'Pearl' Washington.
The day featured special uniforms and appearances from his former teammates, but was highlighted by a halftime ceremony with his family where the Orange unveiled a '31' logo on the court where he hit famously hit his half-court shot.

'Cuse also honored Pearl with special uniforms from his era, featuring the script Syracuse logo.Â

The night before the game, 'Cuse held a banquet in which former players and members of Washington's family shared memories of Pearl.
