Syracuse Athletics Yard Sale a Hit

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse Athletics would like to thank all fans for the support and patience shown during the Athletics Yard Sale on Saturday in Manley Field House. The sale was successful and fans of all ages came to shop.

Those in attendance had a variety of items to select from, including shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, sports jerseys, basketball warm-ups and shorts, running shoes, basketball shoes, turf shoes, sandals and lacrosse equipment.

The 2016-17 Syracuse Athletics season kicks off at home with a women's soccer game against Delaware on Aug. 21 at the SU Soccer Stadium. The Orange men's soccer team will open its season on Aug. 26 at the SU Soccer Stadium and the women's volleyball team also begins its 2016 campaign Aug. 26 against Connecticut in the Women's Building.

The Orange football team opens the season at home on Friday, Sept. 2 against Colgate (7 p.m.) at the Carrier Dome. Season and individual game tickets are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Season tickets start at $99 ($16.50 per game) with lower-level seats in the end zones available for as little as $125. In addition, discounted group tickets (15 or more) for all home games can be purchased by calling 888-DOMETIX, option 2.

The defending national champion Syracuse field hockey team has its first home game Sept. 9 against Boston College.
