The No. 2 Syracuse Field Hockey team begins the 2016 campaign on Friday vs. Temple in the Conference Cup hosted by St. Joseph's.

Orange In Openers
- The Orange are 9-0 in season openers under head coach Ange Bradley and 'Cuse hasn't lost a season opener since 2006.

- The Orange were picked to finish third in the hotly contested ACC behind North Carolina and Virginia.
- Laura Hurff and Lies Lagerweij were tabbed to the 10-player All-ACC Preseason Team to highlight the squad for the Orange. Only UNC, Virginia, Syracuse and Louisville had multiple selections on the team, with no team having more-than-two selections.

Friday's game is scheduled for 1 p.m., with the Sunday action set to begin at Noon.
