Orange Remain No. 6 in USILA Coaches Poll

The Syracuse men's lacrosse team remained No. 6 in the USILA/NIKE Division I Coaches Poll following its comeback win over No. 12 Albany on Saturday. The Orange were also slotted at No. 6 in the Maverik Media Poll this week.

Denver remained No. 1, collecting 312 points and nine first place votes. The Pioneers were followed by Maryland (296 points/five first place votes) in second. Behind them is four-straight Syracuse opponents, with North Carolina (286 points/two first place votes), Notre Dame (272 points) and Johns Hopkins (258 points) in third, fourth and fifth. Virginia is tied with Syracuse for the sixth spot, with each team grabbing 222 points in the poll.

Albany remained No. 12 following their last-second loss to the Orange, with Duke (No. 16), and Army West Point (receiving votes) also representing Syracuse opponents in the poll.
