Martinez, Clark Named Scholar-Athletes of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Olivia Martinez of the softball team and Isaac Clark of the mascot team are this week's Syracuse Scholar-Athletes of the Week.
Martinez is a redshirt junior child and family studies major in the Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics.
The Corona, Calif. native leads the ACC and is top 15 in the nation in sacrifice hits this season. Martinez has 10 hits and 10 RBIs this season and had a homerun at Pittsburgh earlier in the season.
Martinez and the softball team will host Cornell on Tuesday. The Orange will be playing in the ACC Tournament.
Clark is a senior finance and marketing major in the Whitman School of Business.
Earlier this year, Clark was profiled by SBNation in a feature article about college mascots. That article can be read here. Clark has served as Otto at Syracuse University events the past four years and was revealed in a men's basketball game against Georgia Tech as part of Senior Day festivities.
