Williams, Mesh Named Scholar-Athletes of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Ben Williams of the men's lacrosse team and Libi Mesh of the tennis team are this week's Syracuse Scholar-Athletes of the Week.
Williams is a senior finance and accounting dual major in the Whitman School of Management.
The Mendota Heights, Minn. native is 171-of-316 (.541) in faceoffs for 'Cuse this season and he holds the career record for most faceoff victories in Syracuse history.
Williams and the men's lacrosse team advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals with an 11-10 win against Yale on Sunday. The Orange will take on Towson in Newark, Delaware at noon on Sunday, May 21. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
Mesh is a sophomore international relations major in the College of Arts and Sciences.
The Haifa, Israel native became reliable in singles play for the Orange this season with 10 wins, the third most on the team.
Mesh and the women's tennis team finished the season with an 8-14 record after several early season injuries.
