SYRACUSE, N.Y. – It's time to get creative Syracuse fans!
Â
For the second straight season, Syracuse University Athletics is holding a contest to design the official 'Orange Out' t-shirt for the Oct. 7 football game against Pittsburgh.
Â
Fans are invited to submit designs for consideration and once the finalists are selected, Orange Nation will vote on the best design. Syracuse Athletics will provide a professional graphic designer to fine-tune submissions, so contest entries should be based on a concept. The deadline for entries is July 15.
Â
The t-shirt featuring the winning design will be available for fans to wear to this year's ACC game against the rival Panthers. More details, including the entry form, official contest template and rules are available at Cuse.com/OrangeOut.
Â
Designs should emphasize the community's support for Syracuse football. They must be tailored for an orange t-shirt and are limited to one or two colors. The work must be completely original and appropriate.
Â
Fans can submit designs via email (JPEG or PDF file not larger than 20 MB) to TeamSU@syr.edu, or send a printed copy with the entry form to Syracuse Athletics 'Orange Out' T-Shirt Contest, Manley Field House, 1301 E. Colvin Street, Syracuse, NY 13244-5020.Â
Â
Contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Individuals between the ages of 13 and 17 are invited to have a parent or legal guardian submit their entry. The contest is not open to Syracuse University employees, members of their immediate family, or non-U.S. residents.
Season tickets, partial-plan packages, group tickets and individual game tickets are on sale now at Cuse.com/tickets.
Â
The Orange are embarking on their second season under head coach Dino Babers and return a nation-leading 20 starters.
Â
Syracuse kicks off the 2017 season at home against Central Connecticut State on Friday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m.
