
Winner Selected in 2017 'Orange Out' T-Shirt Design Contest

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The ballots have been cast and the votes counted in this year's "Orange Out" game T-shirt design contest. The winner is Chris Mogollon of Queens, N.Y.
For submitting the winning design, Mogollon will receive a Syracuse Athletics prize pack that includes tickets to the 2017 "Orange Out" game versus Atlantic Coast Conference rival Pittsburgh (Oct. 7) during Orange Central/Homecoming Weekend.
Mogollon's winning concept features the Syracuse fight song title "Down the Field" and mascot Otto the Orange on the front of the shirt. On the back is the Syracuse block "S" filled with the song's lyrics. Mogollon's design was selected from among four finalists in an online vote.
A 2009 Syracuse University graduate, Mogollon received his undergraduate degree in communication and rhetorical studies. He is currently is the director of media partnerships for the digital sports company Perform Group.
The shirts with Mogollon's design are on sale now at multiple area retailers, including the Syracuse University Bookstore, Manny's and Shirt World. Orders can also be placed online through the University Bookstore's website by clicking here. Members of Orange Nation are encouraged to wear the shirts for this year's Homecoming clash with the Panthers.
Partial plans, group tickets and individual game tickets for Syracuse football are on sale now online (Cuse.com/tickets), by phone (888-DOME-TIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Tickets start at $30 for ACC matchups with Wake Forest and Boston College, $35 for the Pittsburgh game, and $45 for the Clemson game on Oct. 13.
