SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse continues its seven-game homestand when it hosts No. 14/15 Buffalo on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Tip off in the Carrier Dome is set for 8 p.m.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse (7-3) had its five-game winning streak snapped in a 68-62 setback to Old Dominion on Saturday. Junior Tyus Battle tied his career high with 11 free throws and led all scorers with 23 points. He now has 1,282 career points, moving past Scoop Jardine for 38th place on the Orange's all-time scoring list.

Redshirt sophomore Elijah Hughes posted 15 points against the Monarchs. He has scored in double figures in eight of 10 games this season and ranks third on the team in scoring (14.3 ppg.).

SCOUTING THE BULLS
Buffalo is one of nine undefeated teams in Division I and enters Tuesday's game with a 10-0 record. The Bulls are ranked No. 14 in this week's Associated Press poll and No. 15 in the Coaches poll.

Senior forward Nick Perkins is this week's Mid-American Conference (MAC) East Division Player of the Week after recording a double-double in the Bulls' win against Southern Illinois last Saturday. He finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds against the Salukis. Perkins is averaging 13.8 points per game this season. Senior CJ Massinburg is Buffalo's leading scorer, averaging 17.5 points per game.

Nate Oates is in his fourth season at the helm of the Buffalo program. He guided the Bulls to their third NCAA Tournament appearance in the last four years in 2017-18. Buffalo recorded its first-ever NCAA Tournament win against Arizona, 89-68, in the first round.

THE SERIES
Syracuse leads the all-time series with Buffalo, 28-5. The squads met last year in the Carrier Dome. Oshae Brissett led a group of four Orange players to score in double figures with 25 as the Orange defeated the Bulls, 81-74.

Syracuse plays its final game before a week off on Saturday, Dec. 22 against Arkansas State at 2 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
