Coach Jim Boeheim and the Syracuse men's basketball team hosted soldiers from Ft. Drum at a practice session in the Anthony Center on Thursday.
In what has become more than an annual event, the Orange hoop squad opened the doors to members of the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum to watch a two-hour practice and get some shots of their own up before joining together for a meal.
The soldiers were led by Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Goettke, 3-6 Artillery Commander, 1st Brigade, and Lieutenant Colonel Harvey Lowell, 3-71 Cavalry Squadron, 1st Brigade.
Syracuse returns to action on Saturday, December 22, when it hosts Arkansas State in the Dome at 2:00 p.m.
Ticket information is available at cuse.com/tickets or by calling 1-888-DOME-TIX.
