SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse goes for its third straight win when it hosts Northeastern on Tuesday, Dec. 4. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tipoff in the Carrier Dome.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse (5-2) is coming off a 63-55 victory against Cornell Saturday. Junior Tyus Battle scored a season-high 26 points and pulled down five rebounds in the win. He earned ACC Player of the Week honors for his performance. Sophomore Oshae Brissett also had a big game with 19 points and eight rebounds. The Orange have won their last three games and are unbeaten in the Carrier Dome this season.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
Northeastern is coming off an 81-67 win against Eastern Michigan, improving its record to 4-4, which includes a 2-1 mark on the road.

The Huskies have all five starters returning to their lineup this year. Redshirt junior Jordan Roland leads Northeastern in points per game with 15.9. Sophomore Tomas Murphy leads the team in rebounds, grabbing 12.0 per game.

Bill Coen is in his 12th year as head coach of the Huskies. He led them to a 23-10 record last year, including a 14-4 mark in conference play. Northeastern qualified for the CAA Tournament and lost in the title game to No. 1 seed Charleston.

SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday's matchup marks the seventh game between Syracuse and Northeastern. The last time these two teams faced each other was in 2007 and Syracuse won 95-74. Syracuse is 6-0 against the Huskies.
