Another Top-10 Opponent Awaits

'Cuse ranked 14th in latest poll
The Syracuse men's lacrosse team dropped to No. 14 in this week's USILA Poll, with another top-10 opponent set to visit the Carrier Dome on Saturday.
Army West Point, which moved up to No. 9 in this week's poll, will visit 'Cuse on Saturday at 2 p.m., in the second of seven-straight games against top-15 opponents.
Duke (356 points/15 first place votes) remained No. 1 in the poll after topping previous No. 3 Denver on Friday night, with Albany (336 points/1 first place vote) moving up to the No. 2 spot following their win at the Dome. Maryland (323 points/2 first place votes), Ohio State (288 points) and Denver (259 points), round out the top five.
In addition to the Blue Devils and Great Danes checking in at No. 2, Syracuse's opponents litter the top-20. No. 6 Virginia, No. 7 Notre Dame, No. 9 Army, No. 12 North Carolina, No. 13 Johns Hopkins, No. 15 Rutgers and No. 18 Colgate are all represented in the poll this week and will face Syracuse this season.
The Orange slipped to No. 16 in the latest Maverik Media Poll, with the top-five the same as the USILA Poll.
'Cuse hosts No. 9 Army on Saturday at 2 p.m. Season and individual game tickets are available online (www.Cuse.com), by phone (888-DOME-TIX), or at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B).
Season tickets remain the best value for 'Cuse fans, at a cost of $65 for adults and $35 for youth, fans will get to see Syracuse's seven remaining home games from the reserved section behind the team bench.
New for 2018, parking prices are reduced to $10 at all Carrier Dome surface lots. Individual game tickets start at $10 for adults and $5 for youth (12 and under) for six of the Orange's nine games (North Carolina, Navy, Binghamton, Army West Point, Hobart and Colgate). Ticket for the Orange's three premium games (Johns Hopkins, Albany and Notre Dame) cost $15 for adults and $10 for youth (12 and under) and students are free!
