The Orange will once again be well represented at the Under Armour High School All-America Game, with a trio of future pledges set to compete against the nation's best seniors.
Griffin Cook (attack), Peter Fiorini (Midfield) and Matt Magnan (midfield) will represent 'Cuse in the event.
Cook, a local standout from nearby Jamesville-Dewitt High School, capped off his career with a total of 242 goals and 137 assists, winning CNY Player of the Year for 2018.
Fiorini, another local product of Baldwinsville High School, finished his career with a total of 80 goals and 148 assists, leading the Bees to a second place SCAC Metro Conference finish and Class A.
Magnan, who spent his career at Fox Lane High School, in Bedford, N.Y., finished the season with a total of 52 points on the year, receiving his second All-American honor of his career after a breakout sophomore year with a total of 62 goals.
The three will play together on the North roster on June 30, at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Nine current players on the Orange roster were named Under Armour All-Americans before playing at 'Cuse, with Syracuse having multiple honorees in each of the last-three seasons. Lucas Quinn, Tucker Dordevic and Owen Seebold were honorees last season. Jamie Trimboli, Tyson Bomberry, Nick Mellen, Nate Solomon, Sam Romano and Bradley Voigt also received the honor prior to their time at Syracuse.
The incoming class will supplement an Orange roster that will have to replace the fewest contributors in the modern era of the program. Just five players exhausted their eligibility in 2018, including starters Brendan Bomberry and Dom Madonna, leaving the entirety of the Orange's starting close defense and midfield intact for 2019.
