Orange Host Annual Play Day Saturday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's lacrosse team opens its fall season with its annual Play Day on Saturday, Sept. 29. Eight teams will take part in the event, which will be held at three different fields.

Syracuse takes on Le Moyne in the first game at 10 a.m. at the field on Skytop Road, before facing Binghamton on Wohl Field at 11:15 a.m. Following a lunch break, the Orange meet Cornell at 1 p.m., also at Wohl Field. Syracuse will play Adelphi at 2:15 p.m. at Hookway before ending the day with a match up against Albany, under the direction of first-year head coach and Syracuse All-American Katie Rowan, at 3:20 p.m. at Hookway.

The Orange have five dates on their fall schedule and will face several top-10 teams, including Boston College, Maryland and Northwestern.
