SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse University Athletics will celebrate the football team's 2018 Camping World Bowl victory against West Virginia on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Carrier Dome during the men's basketball game against Pittsburgh (2 p.m., RSN).
Â
The Orange scored 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to down the Mountaineers 34-18 on Dec. 28 to clinch the seventh double-digit win season in program history. Syracuse went 10-3 overall and finished the 2018 season ranked No. 15 in the country.
Â
At halftime of the Pitt game, head coach Dino Babers and the 2018 squad will be recognized at midcourt for their achievements. Additionally, select football student-athletes will be available for autographs before the game starting at 12:45 p.m. in the backcourt. Fans can also have their picture taken with the Camping World Bowl trophy.
Â
As the Orange transition from 2018 to 2019, Saturday is the first opportunity of the new calendar year for fans to select their seats for the upcoming football season. Beginning at noon, fans are invited to sample the view from marked sections of the Dome until the conclusion of the basketball game. Once selections have been made season tickets can be purchased from representatives stationed in Section 243 on the concourse between Gates N and P, or in the backcourt area by Section 119.
Â
Syracuse's 2019 football schedule features six home dates. The Orange host Western Michigan (Sept. 21) and Holy Cross (Sept. 28) in non-conference action, with the Holy Cross game serving as the centerpiece of Syracuse University's Orange Central/Homecoming Weekend. The ACC portion of the schedule includes home games against Clemson (Sept. 14), Pittsburgh (Oct. 18) on Family Weekend, Boston College (Nov. 2) and Wake Forest (Nov. 30).
Â
Tickets for next season's home slate start at $100 for Syracuse University Young Alumni (Class of 2015 to Class of 2019 graduates) and $125 for the general public. They are available online (Cuse.com/tickets), by phone (888-DOME-TIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B).
Â
The deadline to renew current season tickets is March 8.
Â
