Porter to play for Team Canada in Fall Classic

All-ACC netminder Drake Porter will trade in his Orange for red and white this weekend after being selected to represent Team Canada in the US Lacrosse Fall Classic.
Porter, who racked up double-digit saves in half of his appearances last season, completed his first year as the starter with a .562 save percentage for the Orange.
Porter will play in a pair of games against the United States this weekend, beginning Friday Oct. 18 in Sparks, Md. Porter is one-of-two goaltenders on the 23-man roster.
The rest of the 2020 Orange will compete in an intra-squad scrimmage as part of the Orange Alumni Classic this weekend. The event, which begins with a Legends Game at Noon and is immediately followed by the split-squad game at 2 p.m., will be at the Dome. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 and parking is free. All proceeds benefit the Syracuse men's lacrosse program.
