The Syracuse men's lacrosse team (4-2, 0-1 ACC) crept up another spot this week in both the USILA and Inside Lacrosse polls to No. 12, setting up a huge ACC battle on Sunday with No. 2 Duke.

After a bye week, Penn State remained No. 1 in both polls, collecting 362 points and nine of the 19 first-place votes in the USILA Poll. Duke (360/six first-place votes), Yale (358/four first-place votes), Maryland (310) and Ohio State (268) round out the top five. Other SU opponents represented in addition to the Blue Devils are No. 8 Cornell, No. 9 Virginia, No. 11 Notre Dame, No. 15 Johns Hopkins, No. 16 North Carolina, No. 18 Army and Rutgers and Hobart, who are both receiving votes. The top-four is the same in the Inside Lacrosse poll, with Cornell ranked fifth.
