#30 Orange’s Run at ACC Tournament Ends with Loss to #2 North Carolina

DURHAM, N.C. – The 30th-ranked Syracuse women's tennis team's run at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship came to an end at the hands of No. 2 North Carolina in the quarterfinal round Friday evening.
The ninth-seeded Orange lost 4-0 to top-seeded North Carolina inside the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center in Durham, North Carolina. Syracuse is eliminated from the tournament with the loss, finishing the season with a 13-12 overall record and a 5-9 mark in conference play.
The Orange will now wait to learn if they will receive a bid to the 2019 NCAA Tournament. The selection show, which will be broadcast on NCAA.com, is at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 29.
