
Orange Announce Exhibition With Daemen

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse will host Division II Daemen College in an exhibition game on Saturday, October 26, in the Carrier Dome.
The Wildcats are coached by former Canisius and Medaille mentor Mike Macdonald. He has spent five years at the Daemen helm and has guided the Wildcats to a 105-43 record during his tenure. Daemen was 24-16 and earned a spot in the NCAA Division II Playoffs, last season.
Redshirt junior Andrew Sischo is the top returning player for the Wildcats. The 6-9 center is coming off a campaign in which he averaged a squad-best 20.9 points and 10.1 rebounds. The Daemen roster has four of five starters back from last winter.
Syracuse was 20-14 and claimed a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year. Jim Boeheim, who ranks second in career wins among Division I mentors, is now preparing for his 44th season as head coach at his alma mater.
