Syracuse Athletics Enhancing Fan Experiences

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Concessions upgrades, including a new popcorn stand and updated stands with new items, mobile ticket options and additional ride-sharing locations are among the fan enhancements all visitors to the Dome will have the opportunity to experience during the 2019 Syracuse University football season.
Â
"The enhancements to our facility and the game-day experience are a direct response to fan surveys that we conducted in the offseason," said Director of Athletics John Wildhack. "We continually strive to improve the fan experience, pre-game, in-game and post-game. We want all of our fans to enjoy game day with us, watching our team in person, in a great environment."
Â
Concessions
The concessions upgrades include a new popcorn stand, updated stands with new items, and new food options at two "Orange Express" locations that will offer wraps, salads, snacks and bottled drinks. The updated concession stands also include the addition of side-by-side monitors for fans to watch the game and view a digital menu. In addition, all fans are invited to bring up to two sealed bottles of water into the Dome.
Â
Mobile Tickets
Fans are able to receive tickets in three ways – through mobile ticket options, hard tickets via the mail, or for pick up at Will Call. Mobile tickets are available for all fans who have a MyCuse account or through the official  'Cuse app on Apple or Android. Syracuse discontinued the PDF/Ticketfast delivery option due to fraudulent use. Additional details are available here.
'Cuse on the Quad
The pre-game tailgate on the Shaw Quadrangle returns in 2019. Information about the bands performing and the menu are available here.
Â
Ride-Sharing
Two ride-sharing drop-off locations are available for the 2019 season. For the second year in a row, fans can use the drop-off location at the corner of University Place and South Crouse Avenue, at the base of Crouse College. The new location is on Van Buren Street, between Henry Street and Stadium Place, in the circle outside of Brewster Hall.Â

Â
North Campus Shuttle
A North Campus shuttle will operate starting three hours prior to kickoff on the North side of campus through Walnut Park, Comstock Avenue and Ostrom Avenue with a drop-off at College Place.

 Â
Orange Rewards
The Orange Rewards program, which is built into the 'Cuse app, has expanded to include more than 100 items and experiences. All fans are invited to join the program. Once enrolled, fans may "check-in" at any home Syracuse Athletics event and participate in trivia and challenges to earn points that can be redeemed for prizes. New for 2019-20 is a fan lottery that will reward one "checked-in" user selected randomly with a special prize. Fans will be instructed by the public address announcer to open the app to see if they're the winner.

Clear Bag Policy and Walkthrough Metal Detectors
Syracuse fans are reminded that the Dome has a clear bag policy and walkthrough metal detectors. These enhancements were implemented in 2018 to provide a safer environment for the public and to expedite fan entry. The Syracuse University Clear Bag Policy limits the size and type of bags permitted inside the Dome. Clear bags are easily searched and reduce faulty bag searches, which makes bag checks more efficient and effective. The policy is consistent with all National Football League stadiums and many Atlantic Coast Conference institutions.
