SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse takes the court for the first time in 2020 when it hosts Notre Dame on Saturday, Jan. 4. Tip off is set for 4 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and visit the backcourt for a concert by country music artist Nick Stark. Tickets for all regular-season home games are on sale now online (Cuse.com/tickets), by phone (888-DOME-TIX) and at the Dome Box Office located in the Ensley Athletic Center.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 and the Watch ESPN app. Fans can also listen to all the action on the Syracuse Sports Network from Learfield IMG College, including TK99 and ESPN Syracuse locally.
STRIPE THE DOME
All fans attending the game are encouraged to "Stripe the Dome." On January 4 fans seated in sections 101 to 106 and 301 to 306 are encouraged to wear blue shirts, while fans in sections 107 to 110, 123 to 125, all 200s sections and 307-312 will be in white, and fans seated in sections 111 to 116 and 313 to 319 are invited to wear orange. For the games on February 1 and February 29, the color scheme shifts. Details for 'Stripe the Dome' are included below and available online at www.cuse.com/stripethedome.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse (8-5, 1-1) closed out 2019 with a 71-57 victory against Niagara in the Dome. Redshirt junior Elijah Hughes led all scorers with 19 points and finished just one rebound and one assist shy of the first triple-double by a member of the Orange since 2001. Sophomore Buddy Boeheim finished with 15 points, while junior Bourama Sidibe and freshman Joseph Girard III added 10 points each.

Sidibe also pulled down 13 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. Junior Marek Dolezaj also reached double figures in rebounds with 12.

'CUSE HELPERS
The Orange rank 12th in the nation in assists per game (17.5) and assist/turnover ratio (1.42). Elijah Hughes leads the team with 61 assists, while Joseph Girard III is right behind with 58.

SCOUTING THE FIGHTING IRISH
Notre Dame is looking for its first conference win of the year when it visits the Dome on Saturday. The Fighting Irish are 9-2 overall after defeating Alabama A&M on Sunday. Both of their losses have come on the road. Notre Dame is 0-2 in the ACC with its losses coming at North Carolina and against Boston College.

The Fighting Irish lead the nation in assists/turnover ratio (1.9) and are third in assists per game (18.2). Notre Dame also ranks in the top 10 in fewest fouls (151), fewest turnovers (125) and turnovers per game (9.6).

Senior John Mooney is averaging a double-double this season, scoring 14.9 points and pulling down 13.5 rebounds per game. He is one of four players averaging double figures in scoring. The group also includes senior T.J. Gibbs (12.3 ppg.), sophomore Dane Goodwin (12.0 ppg.) and sophomore Prentiss Hubb (10.8 ppg.).

Mike Brey is in his 20th season at Notre Dame. He is the all-time winningest coach in program history. Brey has mentored two consensus All-Americans and three conference Player of the Year winners.
