
14th Annual 'Cuse Awards Will Celebrate 2019-20 Excellence

The 14th annual 'Cuse Awards will recognize the excellence of Syracuse University's 2019-20 student-athletes in a virtual celebration on Thursday, May 7th, presented by Holbrook Heating. The online celebration of Orange academic and athletic excellence begins 6 p.m. on Syracuse Athletics' Twitter (@Cuse), Facebook (/Cuse) and Instagram (@Cusepics).
The recognition will include the presentation of the 2020 Soladay Awards, the highest honor presented to a male and female senior student-athlete each year. The award is named in honor of longtime athletics administrator Doris Soladay. It will also include the presentation of the Syracuse 8 Courage Award, an honor bestowed upon an individual who has overcome a disadvantaged background, a serious injury, or has demonstrated uncommon bravery or highly principled behavior in the face of adversity.Â
Durig the celebration, the winners of the individual team 'Cuse Awards, the 'Cuse Cares Community Service Award, the 'Cuse Cup, the Team GPA Award, and the 'Cuse Scholar and Team Scholar recipients will also be announced.
