Field Hockey Adds Brooke Borzymowski for Fall 2021 Season

SYRACUSE, NY— Brooke Borzymowski, a 5-foot-9 goalkeeper from Fallston, Md., will attend Syracuse University and play field hockey for the Orange next fall.
"We are excited to announce Brooke as a part of our Syracuse field hockey family," Syracuse Head Coach Ange Bradley said. "She is a very fundamentally sound goalkeeper and comes from both high school and club programs with a tradition of winning championships. We are happy to have her as part of our team!"
Borzymowski led Notre Dame Preparatory High School to a 59-12-3 record during her four-year career with the Blazers. Notre Dame Prep clamed the 2017 and 2018 IAAM A Conference titles.
She has been named to the Class of 2021 Mac Field Hockey Watch List and has twice been selected for the NFHCA High School National Academic Squad.
"I truly believe that the coaching staff at Syracuse will help me become the best player and person that I can be," Borzymowski said.
With her club team, Freedom HKY, she was a member of the 2019 NIT Pool O Championship team and in 2020 Freedom HKY won the NIT Pool E championship.
A member of the National Honor Society, Borzymowski is active in multiple student organizations at Notre Dame Prep. She is a student council representative, a Green School representative, a member of the French Club and the One Love Club.
